- Introduction
- This story is the second collection of one-page comics originally uploaded on Twitter from June 2023. It's about the everyday conversations between a daughter who may seem cool but loves her Papa, and her Papa. I hope you enjoy it. The white speech bubbles are for the daughter, the gray ones for Papa, and friends who occasionally appear are in color. It's the Papa who gets all mushy.
- I hope you enjoy this "Father and Daughter Daily Life."

- While I was tidying up the drawer...
- I found your old flip phone, Papa.
- Oh, that's a blast from the past!
- Back then, I used to take casual daily photos with it.
- ...Does it still have the data on it?
- No, I backed everything up to the computer, a memory card, and the cloud.
Page 7
- The data isn't there, but...
- Thanks to this phone, I captured a lot of your everyday moments.
- I kind of want to keep it around.
- Papa...

Page 10
- I've prepared your water bottle, Papa.
- Oh, thank you.
- Make sure to stay hydrated, okay?
- It's going to be hot today, so that's helpful.
Page 11
- I don't want to see another gout flare-up...
- Ah, yes... you're right...

Page 14
- I'm in charge of dinner tonight.
- ...What should I make...?
- ...There's frozen chicken thighs in the fridge,
- so I'll defrost them when I get home—
- season them, coat with starch, and make 'Tatsuta-age'—
Page 15
- ...And there's some leftover chikuwa and cucumber...
- ...And the leftover kimchi from the pork kimchi two days ago as a side dish—...
- I'll make a 'chikuwa cucumber' salad with lettuce and tomatoes.
- Ah... everything ended up being Papa's favorites...
Page 16

Page 18
- The other day, you got really embarrassed looking at maid outfits, Papa.
- You really seemed like such a great dad.
- Please refer to the first collection "Preparation"
- Yeah, thanks.
- But you know...
Page 19
- ...the goodness of our Papa...
- ...can't be conveyed by something like that...
- Come visit again. I'll show you more.

Page 22
- Papa
- Did you use my body soap...?
- Ah, yeah... Sorry, I ran out of mine...
- You're not mad, are you?
Page 23
- It smells nice, doesn't it?
- Uh, yeah...
- ...You can keep using it.
- What...?
Page 24
- Father and Daughter Daily Life.
Page 26
- ...Tomorrow's weather forecast has suddenly changed to clear skies. It looks like an unexpected break from the rainy season...
- Papa, it's good that tomorrow's golf looks fine.
- Wow, sunny just for tomorrow, huh? Must be because of my good behavior.
- That's right.
Page 27
- I've been making a teru-teru bozu since last week, so it was worth it.
- Yeah.
- ...Wait... really?
- Nah... couldn't be...
Page 28

Page 30
- I'm home—
- Welcome home, Papa.
- Oh, by the way, it's 'Tanabata' today.
- Yeah, so I decorated with bamboo leaves.
Page 31
- ...I'm not a kid anymore, though.
- Huh? You didn't write any 'wishes' on the strips.
- ...The wishes I made as a kid have already come true.
- Really? What kind of wishes were they...?
Page 32
- Father and Daughter Daily Life.
Page 34
- ...Huh? Is Papa still awake...?
- ...I feel a sense of 'deliberately hiding' from Papa's room...
Page 35
- ...But I won't worry about it—
- No matter what, I respect Papa's privacy—
Page 36
- Father and Daughter Daily Life.
Page 38
- Ah, darn! I don't have any T-shaped razor...
- Really? I was thinking of going to the convenience store, so...
- 夙B々,少...
- Should I pick one up for you?
- ...No...
- ...It's already dark... and it's a men's item... something I use...
Page 39
- I'll go myself!
- If the roles were reversed... I'd think the same...
- ...Yeah, you're right.
- ...Papa, let's go together then.
Page 40

Page 42
- Tonight's supposed to be a tropical night...
- Your room doesn't have an air conditioner, Papa, so it'll be too hot to sleep.
- My room has one, though...
- Ah, then I'll lay a futon in the living room.
- ...That would mean running two air conditioners, not very efficient.
Page 43
- So I'll sleep in the living room with you.
- Hmm, my snoring is loud, so sleep in your room...
- I've been used to it since I was little, so it's fine.
- Sometimes, chatting while sleeping with your daughter is nice, isn't it?
Page 44

Page 46
- It's ready.
- Eat it quickly.
- It's at the perfect cooking point right now.
- Ah, thank you, I'll have some.
Page 47
- ...You've always been great at grilling.
- Oh, this one's ready too.
- I'll grill too, so eat plenty.
- Okay.
- Yeah, thanks.
- Should I add Papa's favorite harami and tongue?
Page 48
- Father and Daughter Daily Life.
Page 50
- I'm back...
- Hmm? On the phone...?
- So, you know... yeah, yeah, really?
- I know, you feel the same, right?
- Yeah, looking forward to meeting next time, bye.
- ...That's a long call... who could it be...?
- ィィ?
Page 51
- Oh, welcome back, Papa.
- Grandma said she prefers talking on the phone.
- Cough, cough... Thanks for being her conversation partner...
Page 52
- Father and Daughter Daily Life.
Page 54
- Hey, Papa, want to stretch with me?
- ...Sorry, but...
- I can't do it with you...
- Papa?
Page 55
- ...I have a frozen shoulder now... it's a bit tough...
- I need to stretch just to be able to do that stretch...
- Oh, I see... got it...
Page 56

Page 58
- Papa... I'm going to cook extra rice...
- Is that okay?
- ...What? But I recently...
- I've been saying I need to cut down a bit because I'm gaining weight, right...?
- Why?
Page 59
- ...We got some new rice from Grandma today.
- It just arrived.
- By all means, please cook extra.
Page 60

Page 62
- Papa, your old movie recommendations never miss, do they?
- This one was really interesting too.
- I'm glad to hear that.
- It's because before we start watching a movie, you...
Page 63
- Casually share details about the cast and highlights...
- It makes me excited even before we start watching.
- I see...
- ...I grew up with Mr. Mizuno Haruo and Mr. Yodogawa Nagaharu too.
- I'm glad you appreciate that way of enjoying movies...
Page 64

Page 66
- I'm home.
- ...First, I'll transfer yesterday's bathwater to the washing machine—
- Then rinse the rice and hit the rice cooker switch—
- In the meantime, I'll change—
- Once changed, I'll start prepping dinner. (Tonight is mapo tofu and Chinese-style salad)
Page 67
- And when the washing machine is filled, I'll toss in the laundry and start it.
- Once the bathwater drains, I'll clean the bathroom—
- ...Alright, let's do this!
- Get ready so I can fill the bath when Papa comes home—
- Seven seconds since arriving home—
Page 68

Page 70
- Oh!
- The local supermarket is having a meat sale.
Page 71
- Get ready in 40 seconds.
- ...At least give me three minutes...

Page 74
- I’m home...
- Welcome back, Papa.
- Ah, it was so hot I ended up buying ice cream.
- It was hot, wasn't it?
- Huh? I bought some too.
Page 75
- The one I got is your favorite...
- And the one I bought is your favorite...
- Oh... haha.
- ...Then let's eat our favorites together after dinner.
- ...Sounds good.

Page 78
- I'm home...
- What? What's going on?
- Welcome back, Papa.
- My friends suggested we wear yukatas to next week's fireworks festival, so...
- I tried putting one on just to see.
- Oh, I'm dropping by again!
Page 79
- How... do I look?
- You look amazing, right? Right?
- Wow? Uh, yeah, yes.
- Oh Papa, you're blushing again!
Page 80

Page 82
- Papa, my summer vacation starts tomorrow...
- Oh, that's right.
- I'll handle all the chores.
- ...So...
- That's a no-go.
Page 83
- ...
- What?
- Even during summer break, you'll have summer classes and club activities, right?
- So let's stick to our usual routine!
- ...Besides, if I don't help with chores, I get thrown off balance too.
Page 84
- Okay...
- Got it...
Page 85
- Thank you for reading until the end. Please look forward to the next installment.
